Hello, I’m Dr Nicola Williams founder of SWL. I have a PhD in the History of Science and a broad scientific educational background, incorporating the health and life sciences. I’ve previously worked as a healthcare professional. I also have experience in a publishing environment within editorial roles. Here I gained proficiency in copyediting and proofreading. My research expertise in the history of science and technology (specialising in twentieth century biology and technology in particular) often allows me to bring a broad perspective to the pieces that I write, see an example here.
